Annual Meeting 2025

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
— Hebrews 10:24-25

Dear Faithful in Christ,

The Annual Meeting is upon us - tomorrow, Sunday, January 26th, 2025 at 3pm. I encourage you all to participate, to absorb the information on the financial status and parish life of our church, and to be with one another in our joy and in our continuation of the development of a shared vision for the parish.

The Annual Report of 2024 has been painstakingly created as a snapshot of parish life and the finances of the parish for the past year. It also includes the budget for 2025. Pay attention to all details, big and small.

Amidst all of this is gratitude AND encouragement to each of you. Gratitude for your making 2024 happen, including…

  • all Sacramental celebrations, especially being present for those who require final services TO all who are strengthened to receive the Holy Eucharist, the Body of Christ, each week;

  • the opportunities to support neighborhood (Bromley Center), national and global (like ERD) organizations who help the less fortunate;

  • and including our own gatherings that build and develop a special community here at Grace-St. Paul’s (coffee hour, Roast Beef Dinners, Soup & Scripture).

Not only have you, as One community in faith, made 2024 happen, you have also carried on a tradition and legacy that was placed at our feet for us. We must endeavor to consider the future also. What do we hope to build and prepare for our children to use to continue in faith-centered ministry?

It begins with your support, financially and in time committed to a variety of events or tasks in and around the grounds and parish life.

As we proceed into 2025, I encourage a deeper commitment from all who grace our doors.

  • I welcome conversations around Confirmation or Reception into the Episcopal Church, which center on an adult affirmation of faith, recognizing the Holy Spirit remains at work in you.

  • I welcome all inquiries for Baptisms, our principal Sacrament that officially welcomes individuals into the universal Church.

  • I welcome all discussions on what is necessary to join in the various aspects of leadership of the Church. The Episcopal Church is very much led with the input, time, and talents of lay people.

May God’s grace be with us as we strive live more holy lives. Amen.

Faithfully in Christ,

Fr. Michael Panzarella
